About the positions
The Test Engineer is part of the Test Center organization.
We have 4 open positions
He/she drives execution of testing, development of test methods, analysis of test and field data, development of specifications and commissioning of test rigs, and control of outsourced activities in his/ her field of work.
Besides project-related activities, the test Engineer performs generic department activities such as continuous improvement, maintenance support, benchmarking, technology-watch, and training in his/her fields of competence, in particular when new methods are being introduced.
Main tasks and responsibility:
• Work in accordance with TISIX, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and AFS’s, as well as existing internal policies & procedures applying to R&D and Projects;
• Manage and perform tests or measurements, maintain associated methods incl lessons learned, method documents, templates and work instructions;
• Interface with the project teams from DVP&R definition, execution, reporting of test results and possible product improvements;
• Support or manage bench design, modifications and upgrades with a hands-on attitude;
• Support in managing test schedules, balancing R&D, project, production and lab requests;
• Manage external test resources in own area;
• Produce test reports and communicate test results with the customers, internal and external;
• Proactively participate in technical meetings within TitanX and with the involved suppliers, customers and strategic partners;
• Specify and approve prototypes or mock-ups before tests and measurements linked to own method development;
• Network, share experience and coach on testing methods and results;
• Participate actively in reaching the objectives for the Group R&D departments, including supporting the TDP process;
• Participate in continuously improving the department procedures
Your profile
M.Sc in mechanical engineering or B.Sc with 5 years experience in related field;
Working knowledge in airflow testing and measurements;
Specialty in heat-transfer, HVAC or airflow test;
